Weddings

The First United Methodist Church of Burbank is open to all persons for the service of marriage. The beautiful facilities of our church are available at a very reasonable cost. In an effort to maintain the reverence and dignity of the marriage service, we have some rules and guidelines to follow. The following should be enough information to help you decide if our church is right for your special day.

Our facilities include a sanctuary, which is fully air-conditioned, and seats 400 on the main level with additional seating for 100 in the balcony. The 100-foot aisle makes an impressive entry for the entire wedding party. There are 40 pews in the main section of the sanctuary which may be decorated. Our church is filled with music by a Moller pipe organ and a Yamaha baby grand piano. After you are introduced as man and wife, and upon exiting the church, all the church bells peal in a cacophony of beautiful noise to announce your marriage to the whole community.

For smaller weddings we have a beautiful chapel which seats approximately 50 people and has its own electric organ.  The chapel has 14 pews and a 30-foot aisle.  Whichever you choose, the use of our spacious bride’s room is yours.

You are welcome to view our facilities any weekday between 9:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
